1. PURPOSE
This Statement describes the approach adopted by Superspeed.ai Pty Ltd to maintain operational resilience and manage significant disruptions affecting Cushi.app.
Cushi.app operates primarily under Australian law and maintains continuity measures proportionate to its size, service model, and risk profile.
This Statement does not constitute certification under any external business continuity standard unless expressly stated in writing.
2. CONTINUITY PRINCIPLES
Cushi.app seeks to:
- Reduce the likelihood and impact of service disruption
- Protect Customer Data during disruptive events
- Restore services within a timeframe proportionate to operational impact
- Communicate material disruptions where appropriate
Absolute service continuity cannot be guaranteed.
3. SCOPE
Continuity measures may apply to:
- The Cushi.app platform
- Supporting cloud infrastructure
- Authentication and access services
- Operational support functions
- Critical third party dependencies
4. RISK BASED APPROACH
Cushi.app applies a risk based approach to identifying critical services and dependencies.
This may include consideration of:
- Operational dependencies
- Infrastructure providers
- Data protection requirements
- Third party services
Risk assessments are reviewed periodically and following material operational change.
5. RESILIENCE MEASURES
Resilience controls may include:
- Use of reputable cloud infrastructure providers
- Logical separation of environments
- Data backup processes
- Monitoring of service availability
- Documented response procedures
Specific technical configurations may evolve over time and are not guaranteed to remain static.
6. DISASTER RESPONSE AND RECOVERY
Cushi.app maintains documented procedures to respond to significant service disruptions.
Recovery objectives are defined internally based on operational risk.
Actual recovery timelines may vary depending on the nature, scale, and cause of disruption.
7. DATA PROTECTION DURING DISRUPTION
In the event of an incident involving data security:
- The incident will be assessed
- Containment and remediation measures will be implemented
- Notification obligations will be evaluated in accordance with applicable law and contractual commitments
For Australian Customers, obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme apply where relevant.
8. THIRD PARTY DEPENDENCIES
Cushi.app relies on third party infrastructure and service providers for certain operational functions.
Where appropriate, contractual arrangements address service reliability and continuity expectations.
Cushi.app cannot guarantee the performance or availability of third party infrastructure beyond reasonable contractual arrangements.
9. OPERATIONAL CONTINUITY
Continuity arrangements may include:
- Allocation of defined roles and responsibilities
- Secure remote access capability
- Escalation procedures for material disruptions
Arrangements are proportionate to organisational scale.
10. TESTING AND REVIEW
Continuity procedures may be reviewed and tested in a manner proportionate to operational risk.
Testing scope and frequency may vary based on system complexity and business impact.
11. COMMUNICATION DURING DISRUPTION
Where material disruption occurs, Cushi.app may communicate with Customers through appropriate channels, including:
- Platform notifications
- Email communication
- Public status updates where applicable
Communication timing and detail will depend on the circumstances of the disruption.
12. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Business continuity practices are reviewed periodically and may be enhanced in response to:
- Operational experience
- Incident analysis
- Changes in infrastructure
- Legal or regulatory developments
Enhancements are implemented proportionate to risk exposure.
